I believe God wants you to know ...   ... that the rule in carving holds good as to criticism; never cut with a knife what you can cut with a spoon.   Charles Buxton said that and he was right. There are very few good reasons to sharply criticize anyone, least of all your idea that you know a "better way."   Continual critical comments with an edge can deeply undercut confidence in a loved one -- and isn't that the last thing you would want to do?
