ABOUT
The Global Love Meditation is a monthly event at full moons to join together in meditation; a beautiful collective love experience for anchoring more love into our beings, lives and the world.
Many people joining in during a given time period creates a synergistic effect that has a positive impact individually and collectively.
Please note: you don’t have to join in at the exact meditation time. Anytime in the 12 hours before or after works well to synchronize with the energy of the experience.
More about the benefits of group meditation and scientific evidence supporting that are shared below at this page.
For more details, notification of the monthly meditations, and a free Guided Love Meditation MP3, register via the sign-up box above at this page.
FREE MP3 AUDIO
We offer a free guided love meditation MP3 audio.
It’s a beautiful experience of opening to love, immersing yourself in that love, and radiating that love out for the benefit of you and all.
Register via the sign-up box at this page to receive that.
You don’t need to listen to the guided meditation to join in and partake in our monthly full moon meditations!
More details about joining in with the full moon monthly meditations are included in the email you receive after registering above at this page.
You may have your own style of meditation you want to do, or simply take some time out for stillness, quiet and reflection, to allow any shifts that may want to occur, to allow in love and light, and to radiate that out, etc.
SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH
Many people recognize personally, and research has demonstrated very significantly, the countless benefits of meditation physically, mentally, emotionally, as well as spiritually.
That research includes examining the impact of collective meditation and group intention.
Below are some examples of such research, along with a very inspiring video that shares some remarkable insights.
In 1993 a successful experiment was performed in Washington DC in America to demonstrate the effect of a large group of transcendental meditators on crime levels. Researchers predicted in advance that the calming influence of group meditation practice could reduce violent crime by over 20 percent in Washington, D.C., during an 8-week period in the summer of 1993.
In fact, the findings later showed that the rate of violent crime decreased by 23 percent during the June 7 to July 30 experimental period. The odds of this result occurring by chance are less than 2 in 1 billion.
This was a carefully controlled study. The demonstration project involved assembling in the D.C. area nearly 4,000 practitioners of Transcendental Meditation programs from 81 countries. The experiment was rigorously analyzed by a 27-member project review board composed of independent scientists and civic leaders who approved the research protocol and monitored the research process.
The implications of this are tremendous. Meditation does not just serve you; it serves our world, assisting in raising the overall vibration and consciousness level on the planet.
Another profound research example is that of the Maharishi Effect, where in 1978 a group of 7000 individuals meditating on thoughts of love and peace and radiating that energy out, was found to reduce global crime rates, violence, and casualties during the times of their meditation over the course of 3 weeks by an average of 16%. Suicide rates and automobile accidents also were reduced with all variables accounted for. There was, in fact, a 72% reduction in terrorist activities during the times this group was meditating.
“I think the claim can be plausibly made that the potential impact of this research exceeds that of any other ongoing social or psychological research program. It has survived a broader array of statistical tests than most research in the field of conflict resolution. This work and the theory that informs it deserve the most serious consideration by academics and policy makers alike.”

Almost 50 studies have been done further confirming the benefits of group meditation and it’s direct impact on the world, results also being published in the Journal of Crime and Justice in 1981. We know meditation has endless health and psychological benefits, but it is now being explored by politics and sociology because of its undeniable collective energetic impact.
As quantum physics now proves, everything is energy, which most significantly includes our thoughts and feelings that radiate out into the collective consciousness field. Finding peace and love within yourself, accessing, amplifying and harnessing that through meditation, can positively affect not only your personal self and reality but the world at large.
Another long-term study is the Global Consciousness Project at Princeton University, which tracked the impact of events on the generation of apparently random numbers. What they found is that a strong focus by the participants can create a very significant effect. The most powerful changes occurred when the collective attention is set on the most positive ideals like ‘love’, or ‘peace’.
