6 Songs to Let the Groove Fall into your Life.

Via Ruth Lera

Sometimes we just forget.

We forget that music can make everything better.
We are so busy packing the kids’ lunches, worrying about the bills, and wondering why the heck we are on planet Earth in the first place that we simply forget that some great tunes can turn any ordinary day into something special.
I often tell my clients and students that, “Abundance is in the mundane.” The most regular moment can be the most special if we just stop and experience life as it is.
Searching for happiness outside of our present experience may cause suffering. But if we turn the music on and dance around our kitchen no matter what challenges occur, we can bring joy into our lives every day.
Music has a way of making all the normal moments of our lives become extraordinary.
When the seasons change we change, too. Change is the only constant in life, so why not let some good tunes guide you?
The following songs will have you tapping your feet, spinning in your chair, and grinning as you sing along, and let the groove fall into your life.

Frazey Ford, “Done”
Sometimes we are just done! The way it has been needs to go. The chorus of this song is:
“And I’m sorry that you don’t like your life,
I fought for my own victories and for the beauty in my life.
My joy, my joy, my joy takes nothing from you,
no, my joy, my joy takes nothing from you.”

Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats, “I Need Never Get Old”
Yes, fall is here and another year is almost gone. But it is true—we need never get old. Now sing it out!

Alabama Shakes, “Hold On”
No matter what you are going through this fall—I know you can hold on!

Mumford and Sons, “Believe”
I love this one! Just shouting out, “I don’t even know if I believe.” Gosh, do I know this feeling. What about you?

Arkells, “Come to Light”
This song is catchy and this line couldn’t speak more truth, “What we do in the darkness, will come to light.”

Ryan Adams, “Gimme Something Good”
Yes! This is what we want from this autumn season. Something good! Let’s bring it in with good music.
