Break Free from the Bonds of your Trauma—Walk Away (& Keep Walking).

Keep walking through the dust and wind.

It’s going to be hard but keep walking. They may call you naive, but don’t stop. You’ll meet new things on your way, not just humans but animals who you have never seen before. You will see beautiful plants and aliens who only existed in your imagination. You will see not only the road but also rivers, oceans, hot and cold deserts, forests, and so much more.
As you walk, they’ll try to call you back. They’ll take your name and try to chase after you, but don’t stumble; keep walking. They will criticize you, want you to fall, cry, and even mock you. Look at them, wave and smile, and then turn back to the path.
You will keep walking because you’ve learned how to stay unattached to anyone—you know things are never permanent. Everything will keep on changing, and people will always be contradicting.
I know it’s hard and you will get tired. You have to keep walking. Keep walking away from all the bullsh*t that you’ve experienced. Enjoy every inch of your mind, soul, and body. It has become as strong as a diamond and as pure as water falling from a place that people cannot identify.
If you get bored with roads, go to the forest, go down that irregular path covered with leaves. Feel the sunlight barely reaching the surface through the darkness of the tall trees. Find a sea and swim, swim, swim in that dark blue sea. Go below, touch the ground and see how beautiful life is down there.
Listen to your heartbeat, listen to the water’s voice, see the color of the water while you swim. As you slowly come up to the surface, observe how it starts to get lighter from the sun’s rays. The water will be warmer up there.
Go places alone. Meet more humans, but don’t get stuck. Give them your prettiest smile, play with kids, touch that beautiful, furry pet who is more honest than your parents, and more loyal than your friends.
Sit and let yourself be free. Think about how big the world is and how small you are—how negligible. Get up and walk, don’t run; just walk.
See the changing nights, the uncertainty of the moon, those bright and dull stars which are far, far away. If you become tired, sit down again. Laugh as much as you want—like a maniac. Remind yourself of all the great experiences that you’ve had, all the beautiful people who you’ve met, and then remember how some changed you—made you feel small
Either laugh at them because they couldn’t change you and made you stronger or cry your heart out because you didn’t deserve all of that. Cry with your mouth open wide. Every scream will echo from that dark place as the tears roll down like a waterfall. Then, before you get up and walk again, promise yourself that you will never again cry for the same reason. Leave your past behind and keep walking.
To all the people who didn’t know your worth, let them chase you. Keep walking and let them keep on chasing. Show them that you can’t be stopped, and you are never going back again. You are on your way to something. You don’t know where but you are somehow precisely where you’re supposed to be.
Just listen to that beatbox placed inside. Let your mind wander. I know you will never go back because now you are a free soul—someone who has left the place they used to live. And you are never going back there again.
