The Journey of A Soul (KB)

During the time a soul is in the womb, it is guided by angels who tell it why it has come back into this world and what kind of life it will experience. When the child emerges from the womb—at the moment the head crowns—all is forgotten until the age of 12 for a girl and 13 for a boy. At this time, the ability of the child to remember the perfection of its soul is awakened, and all of the information that the angels taught him is available to him. The child becomes an adult and a complete Vessel that can reveal the Light of God. 

The point is that each and every one of us has the right and the ability to find a spiritual way at any point we choose. If we experience pain, then we can choose to grow through it. If we experience uncomfortable situations, then we can elevate ourselves through those as well. Our spirituality is always available to us because it is the essence of who we are.
