Walk the Talk Show with Waylon Lewis presents:

Today I got to spend an hour with a powerful, funny, generous, talented woman doing good things (including partying at the White House, without alcohol or drugs, with yoga, with Jane Goodall).

Just three noteworthy gems from Radha Agrawal (watch the full video to hear them all):

“When I turned 30, I realized that I wasn’t happy with my community so I actualy wrote down a list of everything I was looking for in a friend and I highly recommend everyone do that…because when was the last time you’ve written down the kind of friend you’re looking for, right? Never—we’ve never done that. As soon as I wrote down this list, my entire life changed. I began calling in all these incredible humans and I am who I am today because of my community. I really believe that.”
“We’ve designed the experience at Daybreaker to release all four happy chemicals and we call that the Daybreaker D.O.S.E. and that stands for dopamine, oxytocin, serotonin and edorphine—the D.O.S.E. that you need to really keep happy.”
“So there’s this crazy statistic that just came out, a big research report that shows that one in four Americans—25 percent of americans—report zero friends to confide in. And that number has tripled in the last 30 years…so with all the network and digital connectivity opportunities, we are more isolated than ever. Another statistic that just came out shows that having weak social ties, having weak community, is as harmful to your physical health as being an alcoholic and twice as harmful as obesity.”
