Dear Spiritual
Partner,
Each year one day
is longest and the night is shortest, light is greatest and darkness
is least. This day in June is called the Summer Solstice. Astronomers
explain the Summer Solstice in terms that are relevant to five-sensory
humans – the Earth rotating around the sun and revolving on its axis. They
call it the official beginning of summer. Astrologers explain it in
terms that are more relevant to multisensory humans – symbolic meaning.
The Summer
Solstice is the moment of maximal expansion. Seeds have
sprouted, bloomed, and are growing strongly toward their harvest. The
energy of growth is fully expressing itself. From this moment
onward, the energy of contraction begins until all is compressed into a
seed of potential at the Winter Solstice, the counterpart in December of
the Summer Solstice. Astronomers call it the official beginning of
winter. Astrologers call it the moment of maximal contraction. From
this moment onward, the energy of expansion begins until all is fully
expanded again at the Summer Solstice.
This cycle governs
everything physical – expansion to contraction to expansion again,
breathing in to breathing out to breathing in again. Five-sensory
humans see only this. Multisensory humans see more. They see
their personalities governed by this cycle. They are born, grow,
wither, and die. They also sense that they are souls that do
not age or die. Five-sensory individuals identify with their
personalities which are bound by this cycle. Multisensory individuals
identify with their souls. They are free of this cycle.
Five-sensory
humans ask themselves, “How can I get the most out of this
life?” Multisensory humans ask, “What does my soul want me to
do?” “How can I give the gifts that I was born to give?” The
perspectives are different, the questions are different, and the answers
are different.
The Summer
Solstice is near. After it comes the Winter Solstice.
What does your
soul want you to do?
Love,
|
