In the past 10 years, Brené Brown has become an icon for her work and insight into the human experience.
Her TED talks, books, and public appearances have been wildly popular—and for good reason.
She reminds us again and again of the necessity of being vulnerable in this world. She teaches us that vulnerability is something to be aimed for, not run away from. She shows us the power of true, honest, messy human connection.
While many have seen her now-famous TED talk “The power of vulnerability,” her TED talk “Listening to shame” is less well-known—but equally endearing, inspiring, and, ultimately, profound.
I just can’t get enough of this woman’s wisdom.
