The 12 Days of Aries: Day 7, Libra (KB)

Welcome to Day 7 of the 12 Days of Aries, the Kabbalistic window in time that begins at sundown on Thursday, April 14 and ends at sundown on Friday, April 15. Libra is a cardinal air sign. Cardinal months are those that appear at the beginning of each season and they herald new beginnings and turning points. Cardinal signs are the initiators and motivators of the universe. The gift of the air signs is the gift of vision. In the case of Libra, it is the ability to see all sides of a situation. Libras have a huge desire for harmony and balance, but sometimes in the seeking of it, they get caught up pleasing all and truly serving none. The motto of Libra is “I balance, therefore I am.” The Libra Inner Child Archetype is the child caught in indecision and insecurity, constantly questioning itself, sometimes unable to make a choice. It looks for approval from everyone and when that approval is not given, it feels paralyzed by insecurity and doubt. All of us have a bit of this Inner Child Archetype within. Perhaps in an effort to please everyone, we cannot say “no,” and therefore “yes” our way into a mess we can’t get out of. Or maybe we find ourselves constantly disregarding our own wants and needs for the sake of the harmony of the group, eventually resenting everyone including ourselves. Whatever the situation, the most important thing is not to judge our inner child. In fact, recognizing our Libra Inner Child Archetype gives us the opportunity to strengthen our connection to our Light of our soul, which is what will bring true harmony to any situation. Consciousness for the Day: Affirm to yourself that the only approval you need is the approval of your own soul and the Light of the Creator. Say yes when you mean yes. Say no, (nicely and respectfully) when you mean no. Pause and check in with yourself before rushing to take care of everyone else.
