Welcome to Day Ten of
the 12 Days of Aries, which begins at sundown on Sunday, April 17 and ends at
sundown on Monday, April 18.
Capricorn is a cardinal earth
sign. Cardinal months are those that appear at the beginning of each season and
herald new beginnings and changes underway. Earth signs have the gift of
manifestation. Hardworking and incredibly grounded, Capricorns can fall into the
trap of placing the physical above the spiritual, which gives them feelings of
insecurity and lack.
The Capricorn Inner Child Archetype is a
victim when it doesn’t see the results it is working for in the physical world.
This child has trouble understanding that the real cause of what we experience
in our physical reality exists on the level of consciousness. The voice of this
child says, “Show me and then I will believe,” rather than the other way around.
This child feels afraid, limited, insecure and isolated.
We all have a
bit of this Inner Child Archetype within. Maybe we obsess about results, rather
than receiving all that can be gained in the process. Or perhaps we live in
constant insecurity because we do not know how to access the fruits of the
spiritual world. By acknowledging this little child inside, we can begin to find
healing. In fact, when we feel the pain of this child’s limitation, we can open
ourselves up to the grace of a Higher Power and embrace the love of those around
us.
Consciousness for the Day:Pay attention to the people in your
life more than the things on your to-do list. Open your heart and engage in some
sort of prayer or meditation. Before you do anything, ask the Light for help.
Most importantly, be gentle with yourself and your inner child.
You are work in progress and a child of God who loves you. Healing comes from
positively acknowledging and taking responsibility for what we need to change,
not from beating ourselves up. |
