15 Steps to Release & Return your Soul Energy to your Chakra.

“I feel like me again, I wasn’t even totally aware I wasn’t here, I just knew something was off.”

In my work as an energy healer I have observed many clients have successful soul recoveries over the years. Many of them hadn’t even realised they weren’t feeling totally like themselves—until their soul energy returned to them.
I am sure you know this feeling, you don’t totally know what’s wrong, but you just know something is off. If this is happening to you, it is time to recover your soul energy.
How do we lose our soul energy in the first place, you might be wondering. Well, we lose it through something called dissociation.
When life is hard, we often leave ourselves. It’s a defense mechanism many of us have. It’s a way our system thinks it’s protecting ourselves from the hard parts of life. Julie Gentile M.D., Associate Professor of Psychiatry at the Boonshoft School of Medicine, explains that:
“It is argued that the individual subconsciously cannot tolerate being present emotionally during the trauma but cannot control the situation, and therefore protects him or herself from experiencing it in the moment via dissociation.”
On an energetic level when we dissociate, our soul energy fragments. The message inside our body, mind, and spirit is that it is not safe to be present because it is too dangerous, so our soul checks out, or partially checks out. This can leave us feeling like an empty shell of a person.
And we have all had trauma. Everyone.
I don’t care how loving your family is, how smart you are, or how safe your neighborhood is. If you are human, you have experienced trauma at some level.
We’re all walking around like this, soul fragmented and deficient of all we are and all we can be. This can be hard to admit and really face, but when we see it clearly, then we can do something about it. Because the good news is this soul fragmentation can be repaired. Through intention, commitment, willingness, and if you want visualization, you can bring all your soul energetic parts back to you.
It might take a little time, but everyone has the opportunity to return to their own wholeness, if they choose to.
A little courage is needed for the process, and patience, too. But the moment you become honest and aware that there is a fragmentation in your own wholeness, an unraveling of trauma is initiated in your system. A path opens, just through honest admittance that things are not totally right in your life. And then the trauma pain can be released, and your own soul energy can return to you.
Your main job in this process is to stay open and not block it with concepts of being stuck or blocked. We are never stuck. We are never blocked. Openness and wholeness are always possible! This is the most important thing to remember on the soul path.
There are many energetic levels, energetic places, and energetic ways your soul energy may have fragmented. For this reason, we want to be thorough in the way we return our own soul energy to us. Our soul energy has fragmented from our body, our energy field, and from the seven major chakras (our energetic, data powerhouses that manifest our existence and experiences) and many other energetic places we can’t even properly conceive of.
This is why we have to avoid intellectualizing the healing process through doubting how it is done and simply commit to our own healing and wholeness, and make room for all of our beautiful, precious energy to return to our own being in love and grace.
For the practice of returning our soul energy to ourselves I recommend using a broad, overarching intention. We don’t know where all our soul energy has gone or exactly why it left us. And we don’t want to worry about that aspect too much.
We just want to focus on how important, and even crucial it is to bring our own soul energy back to us, so we can feel healthy, whole, and fulfilled on our path.

I Am Whole Healing Technique

Step 1: Find a quiet place and close your eyes. Notice your breath for a few rounds of inhalations and exhalations. Let your shoulders come down and feel your system settle into the moment.
Step 2: This healing is a multistep process as soul energy is recovered in the seven major chakras, as well as the entire energy field. However, if you feel like there is a specific spot in your body or a specific memory of a situation in which you want to recover soul energy, you can focus your intention of wholeness there instead. This is your healing process so make it your own.
Step 3: Set the intention, “I am whole, all my energy is returning to me.” Really, feel yourself commit to this intention. Feel yourself being open and available to whatever this healing technique is going to bring you.
Step 4: Bring your attention to your Root Chakra. Visualize it as a ball of light below your pelvis. Say the words to yourself, “All my Root Chakra soul energy is returning to me. See red light coming from the galaxies and filling your Root Chakra. Feel safe and content that this is your own energy returning to you. Rest and notice any changes in your body and how you feel.
Step 5: Bring your attention to your Sacral Chakra. Visualize a ball of light just below your belly button. Say the words to yourself, “All my Sacral Chakra energy is returning to me.” See orange light coming from the galaxies and filling your Sacral Chakra. Feel grateful and relieved that this is your own energy returning to you. Rest for a moment and notice how your stomach and chest feels. See if you can relax your belly even a little more. Take a few slow breaths.
Step 6: Next bring your attention to your Solar Plexus Chakra. Visualize a ball of light just below your rib cage. Say the words to yourself, “All my Solar Plexus Chakra energy is returning to me.” See yellow light coming from the galaxies and filling your Solar Plexus Chakra. Feel the love and vibration filling you. Notice that your shoulders have become more relaxed. Let your chest loosen even more.
Step 7: At this point, you might be getting a little spacey or drifty. See if you can stay focused. Bring your attention to your Heart Chakra. Visualize a ball of light in the center of your chest. Say the words to yourself, “All my Heart Chakra energy is returning to me.” See green light coming from the galaxies and filling your Heart Chakra. Feel the warmth and safety filling you.
Step 8: If it feels like you are too sleepy and relaxed to continue, just remember which chakra you made it to and plan to do another session of this healing technique, starting at the next chakra you didn’t get to. But if you can keep going in one session then focus on the Throat Chakra. Visualize a ball of light in the center of your throat. Say the words to yourself, “All my Throat Chakra energy is returning to me.” See blue light coming from the galaxies and filling the Throat Chakra. Feel your own sense of power and contentedness filling you.
Step 9: Move your attention to your Brow Chakra. Visualize a ball of light in the center of your forehead. Say the words to yourself, “All my Brow Chakra energy is returning to me.” See purple light coming from the galaxies and filling your Brow Chakra. Feel your mind being centered and calm. Know this is your natural state of being.
Step 10: Shift to the Crown Chakra now. Visualize a ball of light above your head. Say to yourself, “All my Crown Chakra energy is returning to me.” See white light coming from the heavens and filling your Crown Chakra. Feel open and full of light.
Step 11: Now visualize your whole body, all your chakras, and your energy field. Say to yourself, “I am whole, all my energy is returning to me, I am open and available for a full soul recovery.” See an entire outline of your soul returning to you in present time.
Step 12: Now let it all go. Let the whole process go. Have no conceptual explanation of the process that just occurred. Just stay still and experience whatever there is to experience.
Step 13: Rest and breathe for as long as you need.
Step 14: Thank your energy for fully returning. Feel the full gratitude for this opportunity to be in your own wholeness.
Step 15: Notice over the next few weeks ways in which you’ve transformed.
