This human experience is a wild ride. It’s a spectrum, and we never know what event will spark where we end up next.
When times are tough, I like to remind myself of a quote that Eckhart Tolle once said, “The world is not here to make you happy, the world is here to make you conscious.”
This helps me pull my focus away from happiness, or running away from the pain, and instead onto “What is this situation trying to teach me?”
It makes me realise that life is about evolving and growing. Life is change. It’s not possible to be happy all the time.
