I am on the side of humankind. I am convinced my welfare is generated by the peace and stability of the world. The love that produces spiritual growth stems from my relationships in the world; we cannot exist alone. Today I strive to bring the world and people together. We must seek not to be the same but rather to rejoice in the richness of difference. Drugs always divide, separate, and isolate; spirituality unites. I am an optimist for humankind because of what has happened in my own life.
