The Price of Elevation (KB)

Those of us who are familiar with natural cures like homeopathy and acupuncture know that prior to a person becoming cleansed or detoxified, they experience what is known as a healing crisis. A healing crisis is when the whole system shuts down and every sickness that you've ever had in your life bombards your body all at once. In other words, you're sick as a dog. But this removal of sickness and negativity is required if your body is to heal. In the same way, a person who is becoming spiritual goes through a healing crisis in every area of their life. That's the price one pays to become more elevated in consciousness. It's like someone who wants to have a beautiful body. You must exercise. You must exert yourself physically, and it’s hard work. Spirituality is the same way. People aren't born spiritual; they are born only with the potential to become spiritual. Now some people might be born with spiritual gifts, perhaps a gift of clairvoyance or intuition. These gifts do not make a person spiritual; they are simply gifts a person can choose to use. But becoming spiritual requires effort.
