How to Downsize your Life.

I practice non-materialism and non-ownership and strive to be present in life by owning few possessions.

This year, I renewed my passport and they sent me back my old passport with 10 years of memories and sentimental value.
I decided to use this passport as an opportunity to share my tips on how to downsize and simplify your life (notice the scissors in my right hand). Millions of people desire to downsize their life and get rid of possessions, but often express that they feel lost on how to get started.
I can relate. In the past, I was a collector and held on to an incredible amount of stuff that I didn’t need. My self-value came from my stuff. As I woke up to the realities of the world I live in, I began to free myself from materialism and the concept of ownership. I went from needing the largest room in my three-bedroom apartment to living in a closet to living in a 50-square-foot tiny house to downsizing to just 111 possessions, all of which fit into a backpack.
This was not an overnight transformation, but rather a journey of many steps.
In this video, I share my journey from a collector to minimalist and my tips on how you can free yourself of possessions to live a happier, healthier, and simpler life.

These tips will help you to get rid of what doesn’t serve you, in order to make space for true purpose and passion for life:
