As a survivor of early childhood, tween, and teen sexual abuse, my life’s journey has been a tumultuous one, marked by pain, resilience, and a relentless search for healing and empowerment.
My story is one of transformation where I evolved from a young sex worker struggling to support my son whilst self-medicating with drugs and alcohol into a holistic health practitioner committed to guiding other people on their healing journeys.
My path to healing is far from linear; it’s been a labyrinth of confronting my past, embracing my light and shadow aspects, and finding my purpose amidst the pain. The scars of abuse were deep, casting a long shadow over my self-worth and relationships. But within the darkness, I discovered a spark of resilience that refused to be extinguished.
As a young sex worker, I faced the harsh reality of trying to provide for my son on my own. The weight of my past traumas compounded my struggles, leading me down a path that felt like a continuation of my victimhood. It was during this challenging time that I began to recognize the importance of seeking help and addressing my emotional wounds.
The turning point came as I leaned more into the world of holistic healing. Energy medicine introduced me to the idea that our bodies are not just physical vessels, but reservoirs of energy that hold the imprints of our past experiences. Through energy work, I started to release the pent-up emotions that had been buried within me for years.
Somatic therapies further deepened my healing process. By exploring the sensations and memories stored in my body, I was able to confront the trauma that had been haunting me. It was an agonizing process, but also a profoundly liberating one. Each step forward was a reclamation of my body, my spirit, and my voice.
Yoga became my sanctuary, offering me a space to reconnect with my body, mind, and soul—to learn to feel safe to be in my body, to marvel at all that I can do and hold, to build physical strength and resilience to match my energetic and emotional levels, to learn how to breathe in life.
One of the most transformative aspects of my journey has been my exploration of sacred feminine pleasure. As a survivor, the idea of pleasure was fraught with complexity. Yet, delving into this realm allowed me to redefine my relationship with my body and my sensuality. I learned that pleasure could be a gateway to self-love and healing, rather than a source of shame and judgment.
Central to my healing was the reconnection with my yoni and womb. These sacred sacral spaces had been violated, but through rituals, meditation, and intentional practices, I began to rebuild a sense of connection and trust with them. The process has not been about erasing the past, but rather about transforming it into a source of power and wisdom.
Aligning the physical, spiritual, and emotional bodies became my ultimate goal. I realized that true healing can’t be compartmentalized; it requires a holistic approach that acknowledges the interconnectedness of every aspect of our beings. I embraced practices that nurtured my body, such as nourishing foods, movement, and touch. I have also delved into deeper spiritual practices that allow me to tap into my inner strength, intuition, and divine connection.
As I navigated my own healing journey, my purpose (my dharma) emerged—guiding others on their path to wholeness. The pain I had endured was not in vain; it had equipped me with a unique understanding of the struggles that many people face. With fierce love and authenticity, I embarked on a mission to create sacred spaces for healing, where others could feel seen, heard, and supported.
Becoming a holistic health practitioner was both a natural progression and a conscious choice. I pursued certifications in yoga, energy medicine, somatic therapies, and bodywork, equipping myself with the tools to hold space for others’ healing. My specialties in trauma release, yoni and womb connection, and sacred feminine pleasure were born out of my own experiences and my deep desire to empower others.
The journey from survivor to healer was not without its challenges. It still requires me to continuously confront my own triggers and vulnerabilities while holding space for others to do the same. It demands a level of empathy and compassion that could only arise from walking such a challenging path.
Today, I stand as a testament to the power of transformation and the human capacity to heal. My journey is a living embodiment of the resilience of the human spirit. It’s a reminder that our past does not define us, but it can serve as a wellspring of wisdom and strength.
My story is one of evolution—from a survivor buried beneath layers of pain to a healer who embraces both light and shadow with open arms. It’s a narrative of empowerment, where the scars of trauma have been transformed into sources of authenticity, compassion, peace, and contentment. Through it all, my purpose remains unwavering—to guide others toward their own healing, helping them align their physical, spiritual, and emotional bodies with love, authenticity, and unshakable strength.
