Welcome the Year of the Wood Dragon on Lunar (Eastern) New Year.

What’s your zodiac animal? And what does that mean for you?

On February 10, we welcome in the Year of the Wood Dragon. Bye-bye Water Rabbit.

Lunar New Year is celebrated by millions around the world and falls on the second new moon of 2024. It is a time to celebrate fresh new beginnings, marking the end of winter and with the promise of spring.

Transitional times in our calendar can offer insight and awareness on how to connect with our world as well as our own inner environment. In the modern world, we have a tendency to lose touch with recognizing these transitions in our lives. I hope you can honor this Lunar New Year to reflect on what is burgeoning and anew with curiosity and joy.

Each zodiac animal has a different relationship to the Dragon and for 2024. Below is a list of every animal, their corresponding years*, and a mindful aspiration for you to contemplate in this Year of the Wood Dragon. And be sure to hop down to the end of the post after you read about your animal for some feng shui lunar new year tips for everyone!
