Mindfulness also helps us to be more quickly aware of what is going on in our bodies and therefore we can seek treatment more quickly. With the practice of mindfulness we are also more aware of our negative thoughts, which lead to depression, which leads to illness. We can stop these thoughts when we realize they are just thoughts and not reality.It brings me great joy to know that mindfulness practice helps me to live a healthier life.
