NUGGETS OF WISDOM - 1557

  • ·      The caterpillar doesn’t become a butterfly because it hates being a caterpillar. It transforms because transformation is part of its nature.

    ·      You are enough when you feel strong, and you are enough when you feel vulnerable.  You are enough when your heart is closed in self-protection, and you are enough when it is wide open to love.  You are enough when you forget your light, and you are enough when you remember that you are a creative, loving force in the world.  You are enough when you lose your way, and you are enough when you find your way back home to yourself.

    ·      “Greatness lies not so much in possessing strength as in making a wise and divine use of such strength.”

    ·      Happiness is different from pleasure. Happiness has something to do with struggling and enduring and accomplishing. - George A. Sheehan

    ·      “When we tell ourselves and others that our heroes are inhuman and on a pedestal that is not just high but unattainable, we are actually pushing ourselves down rather than climbing.” ~ Katrina Honigs

    ·      Whatever it is about you that irritates them, become more of that.

    ·      Emotional and physical boundaries are about recognizing the point at which our principles, and those of our loved ones, no longer overlap.
