Never Be Afraid Or Resent That Pruning (EC)

Every tree which is to bear much fruit has to be pruned and that pruning has to be severe to be really effective. You may have witnessed the pruning of a rose bush and have seen that rose bush with all its life force cut right down until there is but a stump left. As you have beheld it, your heart might have ached and you even wondered if the pruning had not been too severe and if it was really necessary. Try to understand that every soul who chooses the way of the spirit must be pruned at the right time so that soul can grow strong in the Spirit and bring forth much fruit at the right season. Therefore never be afraid or resent that pruning which has to take place, which may be very uncomfortable and painful at the time, when the soul is stripped of everything until it wonders what has hit it and if I have forsaken it completely. I never leave you nor forsake you. I AM with you always but I need you strong in Spirit and in truth. Therefore it is necessary to be seemingly cruel to be kind. My life force is flowing in you even when you have been stripped of everything and as you begin to realise this and accept this and know and feel I AM with you, so do you begin to grow in strength and stature.
