“Whether it’s science or magic, if it’s of fun benefit, enjoy!” ~ ed

Fall into the abyss, close your eyes, and abandon everything but this moment.

A journey is coming to an end though it’s not one that you consciously began. Yet, it’s not so much about what is ending as what it is creating the space for. Let what has occurred quietly fall to the ground and turn your face toward the sun and all that will come next.

The Eclipse Cycle of Pisces and Virgo began in 2024 and has represented the balance between spirit and earth. The desires of the soul and the human need to control the outcome. But perhaps most of all, it’s centered around faith and the ability to let go and trust in the process.

While this Eclipse in Pisces on August 28th is the final one in this series, it goes deeper than just the phases of the moon.

In 2022, Saturn, the lord of time and karma, moved into Pisces beginning a new chapter of karmic lessons and maturity. While Saturn has moved out into Aries earlier this year, this current eclipse cycle began while Saturn was activating the North Node in Pisces. This creates a strong link between your karmic growth and your fate because none of us just stumble into the life that is meant for us, but instead have to choose it—usually only once we’ve learned how to do and be better.

The Full Moon and Lunar Eclipse in Pisces will bring quiet closure to something that you’ve been working through, learning or dealing with since 2022 and it represents the most major phase of completion in all of 2026.

Pisces is the last sign of the zodiac, and beyond being made up of each of the other 11 signs, it also is known to be the closest to the divine and spirit.

This journey over the last few years has been a true test of faith, not just in your personal life, for all of us as a collective.

To see beyond what it is and trust that there is a purpose at play which will bring clarity and benefit for all of us.

A Full Moon always represents an ending or closure, but it also arrives with the promise of what is just beginning. Something so quiet, and small perhaps that if we don’t pay attention we may miss entirely. Yet, a Lunar Eclipse, represents the Blood Moon, a time of intense inner and emotional transformation. When facing our own emotions become unavailable. As only when we surrender to them can we finally see the purpose within.

Reflect back to the lessons that you’ve been moving through since 2022. What you’ve already learned and what may still feel undone in your own life. Yet, rather than forcing an ending or looking to see what must be released, notice what already has.

The beauty of Pisces is that it’s not an abrupt ending, or one that you must force, but simply noticing what or even who has already left your life. It’s holding space for yourself and the multitude of ways that you’ve changed since 2022. How you’ve come home to yourself, listened to your intuition, and developed an untenable faith that no matter what may happen everything always ends just as it’s meant to.

And yet, an end is always just a new beginning.

There will be one final eclipse in the current cycle in Virgo in February 2027, and at that time the final lessons of Pisces and Virgo will be completed. But this final moon in Pisces is an important one because it represents the surrender, the awareness that you will use to tend to the final details of this phase in the coming months.

Release the idea that you have to force anything, including an ending in your life.

This period has been marked by immense changes—personally, romantically, and collectively.

You don’t have to have it all make sense or even definitely know where to go from here, but just hold it all gently.

Pay homage to the experiences that have shaped you, and lean into the lessons, even those that feel difficult. And through it all, place your hand on your heart because you’ve made it.

No matter what the journey has entailed, you have made it. And sometimes that is the most important part of a lesson: realizing that it, in fact, does not last forever.

The Full Moon and Lunar Eclipse in Pisces is a time to sit with your dreams and intuition.

Think about a walking meditation to help foster movement. Let yourself surrender to the healing property of water and don’t feel guilt around needing increased rest. While this is an important time to reflect on what is naturally being released, there may also be some unexpected shifts and surprises as that is what Eclipse Season is known for. This is why it’s always better to surrender to where you are guided than try to force an outcome, even when it involves an ending. Because it’s not about what or who gets closed out of your life with this moon, but the space it creates for what comes next.
