that I now believe in me. I accept my addiction and do not resist or deny it.
I believe I am an alcoholic, an overeater, a codependent, or an adult child
of an alcoholic. My belief sets me free. For too long, I played the game of
control, blaming, and bargaining-and I lost. I now surrender to the reality
of who I am. I accept my disease and make choices based on my awareness. And
