· But first! What’s a “real” father? The gentleman who shows up. Who loves, teaches, protects, serves, advises. It’s got very little to do with biology, and everything to do with caring. I write about that here in some depth: “Unhappy Father’s Day.”
· And so I honor real fathers. I look forward to being one. I’ll make a ton of mistakes, every day, I’m sure. But I’ll show up. I’ll care. I can’t wait (that said, I’m in no rush).
