Perhaps because Moses was born in the last sign of the zodiac, Pisces, he thought he could complete the Israelites’ tikkun, their correction, on their behalf. He knew that if he finished the job, then it would be done forever. But the Creator told him, “Moses, every person needs to walk in his or her own shoes. Each person must deal with his or her own negativity.” How do I know that each one of us have this negativity inside us? Because we are breathing. If we weren’t breathing, we would have gotten rid of all traces of negativity. So the question is this: How much negativity do we allow to remain a part of our selves? How much do we fight it? It is this striving, this fight, that is what we are referring to when we talk about spirituality. And this fight is the battle that each one of us must wage for ourselves and for the whole world in order that the whole world survive and reach its final correction. |
