Dogma

Dogma is less useful than cow dung. -Mao Tse-tung

Dogma suggests that something is divinely written and it will never change. Incidentally, when the church or religion has pronounced "a dogma," it has usually regretted it. Dogma is not very popular among spiritual people because it tends to be rigid, judgmental, and arrogant. When we Say Yes to Your Spirit we seek to avoid these attitudes and behaviors. The God I believe in dances with me, and if Chairman Mao were still living, God would also dance with him. Heck, I would dance with Chairman Mao!

I'm dogmatic about not wanting dogma in my life.
