The moment you’re told not to think of something, it’s the first thing your mind focuses on.
Our minds struggle to comprehend the negative.
There are days when motivating ourselves feels impossible, so life feels hard—because that’s what we focus on.
We’re told nothing in life comes easy, so we internalize that belief. But this creates inner conflict: we crave success and abundance, yet focus on lack and difficulty.
We want more, but tell ourselves we’re not good enough.
I know a guy—lazy by most standards—but he’s successful. Not necessarily in money, but in opportunity. He seems to effortlessly attract what he needs, without strain.
His mantra? “I obtain everything easily and effortlessly. I thrive in life by doing as little as possible to reach my desired outcome.”
I’m not saying you should be lazy and things will magically happen—but maybe it’s time to question what we’ve been taught. We’re told to work hard or we’ll achieve nothing. But…what if that’s just conditioning?
Researchers once conducted an experiment where they placed flies in a jar and sealed the lid. The flies repeatedly hit the lid trying to escape, and eventually learned to fly only as high as the barrier allowed. Even after the lid was removed, they continued flying at that same height—conditioned to believe that was their limit, even though the obstacle was gone.
Associate yourself with like-minded people—learn from them as much as they can learn from you.
Never aim to be the smartest person in the room. If you are, you’re in the wrong room. Growth thrives in environments where you can be challenged and inspired.
Maintain a positive outlook, because let’s face it—nothing good ever comes from being negative.
Learn to talk to people. Genuinely connect. In doing so, you might find doors opening that you never imagined existed.
We often say, “When one door closes, another opens.” But those new doors only appear when we’re aligned with the right mindset, the right energy, and the right people.
So instead of the pink elephant, see yourself not just as rich, but truly abundant.
See yourself happy—and focus obsessively on the life you want to attract.
After all, it’s one of the universe’s most basic laws:
Energy flows where attention goes.
