Embrace Your Mission in this World (KB)

In Passover, the Israelites had to do a few actions. One was to commit themselves to letting go of what is referred to as “idolatry.”

If think about it, we all have forms of idolatry. We worship things or we act like we are loyal to certain people because of what they are, who they are, where they come from, what they can do for us, and/or how we can benefit from being close to them.

Don’t get me wrong. Of course there are certain people we need to have communication with for a reason, for business, or for developing our friendships. But sometimes we find ourselves worshiping people or things simply because they are greater or more powerful than we are. This is a form of idolatry, because in a way it is negating our own Light that was gifted to us. We are saying that in and of ourselves we are not enough. We should not feel that who we are is less than somebody else; we each have a different role, a different mission in this world.
